18.01.07 - Information about eRoom and Windows Vista/Office 2007

Problem Description
Microsoft Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007 are now available to enterprises as of November 2006, and will be launched to the broader consumer market on January 30, 2007. EMC has begun testing the most recent version of eRoom (7.3.3) with released versions of Vista and Office 2007, but has identified several issues which require resolution before Vista and Office 2007 can be formally supported.

Until these compatibility issues are addressed, eRoom is not certified for use with Windows Vista nor Office 2007.

Issue Resolution
EMC will support Windows Vista and Office 2007 with the eRoom 7.3.4 maintenance release.
